This section explains what the LinguaPop app (package com.srctecnolab.linguapop) collects and why.
Information we collect
Learning progress — courses, lessons completed, XP, streaks, gems, achievements, settings and the display name and avatar you choose. It's stored on your device and backed up to our cloud database (Google Firebase Cloud Firestore) so you don't lose it.
Account information — every user gets an anonymous account ID from Google Firebase Authentication. If you choose Sign in with Google, we also receive your Google account email address and name to link your progress to your account.
Usage and diagnostics — Google Firebase Analytics records how the app is used (for example, when a lesson is completed), and Google Firebase Crashlytics records crash reports and device information to help us fix bugs.
Advertising — LinguaPop shows ads through Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address (used for approximate location) and ad interactions to show and measure ads. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent first, and you can change your choice any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices.
Microphone and speech
Speaking exercises use your device's built-in speech recognition service (for example, Google's) to check your pronunciation. The microphone is only used while you tap the microphone button. LinguaPop does not store or upload recordings; the speech service on your device may process the audio under its own privacy policy. You can turn speaking exercises off in Settings.
How we use information
To run the app and save your progress, to understand and improve the app, to fix crashes, and to show ads that keep LinguaPop free. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics) and Google AdMob. Their use of data is described at https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Children
LinguaPop is intended for users aged 13 and over. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we'll delete the data.
Data retention and security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We keep your progress until you delete your account.

Delete your LinguaPop account
In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and progress from your device and our cloud database.
Without the app: email manish3chawda@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my LinguaPop account" from the Google account you signed in with. We'll delete your account and data within 30 days. Crash and analytics data is kept by Google for its standard retention period.
